Mark Sayre

Mark R. Sayre, the owner of Earth Care, the Environmentally Friendly Property Management Company, has been in the landscape and property management field most of his life. Mark grew up in rural southern Illinois in a small agricultural town called Alton and has always loved and been connected to the land and its stewardship. He received state certification in Ornamental Horticulture, Agricultural Mechanics, and Animal Husbandry while still in high school.

After moving to California in 1982, Mark worked for leading CLCA landscape management companies in Central and Northern California and has personally received awards for his designs and creative landscapes. He eventually started his own company, Sayre Landscape Management, in 1989. Mark moved to Southern California in 1993 and he and his wife Dorell bought their home in Yucaipa in 1997. Mark has attended Crafton Hills College and Everest Business College with a major in Business Management. He also has his Master Gardener Certification from the University of California Riverside.

Always an advocate of earth friendly practices, Sayre Landscape Management officially became Earth Care in 2006. Mark knew there was a way for his company to provide the best in property management while at the same time take steps to lessen the impact those practices have on the environment of the already over-burdened Inland Empire.

What sets Earth Care completely apart from other companies is it provides the latest in environmental technology, both in the equipment and in the products used at customer’s properties. Earth Care is proactive in keeping their customer’s environmental footprint as small as possible, while looking just as visually attractive as their more polluting neighbors. Earth Care specializes in estate and commercial property management and Mark is always happy to consult with the public on environmental and maintenance questions and concerns.

This is Mark’s first year on the Board of Directors and he is looking forward to participating in Yucaipa Chamber of Commerce events and promoting local businesses and interests with other members of the community.
